We’re reserving plots for 2019 on a rolling basis.

In order to register for a plot you must be a Hatfield resident, work in Hatfield, or have children in the Hatfield schools:

  1. Read the 2019 Gardener's Guide 

  2. Fill out the 2019 registration form

  3. Send payment

    • Please make checks out to "Town of Hatfield" with "Ag Commission- Hatfield Community Garden" in the memo.

    • Drop payment at the Ag Commission's mailbox in the Town Hall or you can mail to:

If you have questions, would like to pick out your plot and register on the spot, please attend one of our two informational meetings for interested gardeners:

  • Wednesday, Feb 27 from 6-7pm at the Hatfield Elementary School Community Room

  • Saturday, March 2 from 11am-12pm at the Hatfield Elementary School Community Room

    Please bring cash or check to the meeting to register.

Gardeners receive numerous benefits including:

  • A 20’ by 20’ plot, or a 20’ by 10’ half plot

  • Access to prime soil and town water

  • Shared tools, wheelbarrows, and watering cans

  • Low-cost access to finished compost at $2.50 per 5-gallon bucket & organically grown straw at $8 per bale

  • Limited complimentary organic seeds and plant starts

  • Free wood chip mulch

Our fees for 2019:

  • $20 for a 20’ by 20’ plot  

  • $15 for a 10’ by 20’ plot

  • Discount of $5 for seniors (65 and older) or SNAP recipients

Gardeners contribute three hours of community service per plot. This helps the garden function as a vibrant community resource.
